On Monday, January 18th the Interview New York team will be participating in MLK day of service in Hunts Point, South Bronx. Every year, City Year coordinates a one-day service project. If you’d like to come help out RSVP to LKnyc@cityyear.org. We’d love for you to come and join us. The day will be fun and rewarding, and during lunch break we’d love to interview you too! Hope to see you there! Sincerely, The INY team

  3. Super Sabado

If you have time tomorrow head up to El Museo for SUPER SÁBADO. There is free admission from 11am to 9pm and Flip Cameras will be circulating so you’ll get a chance to interview others and be interviewed yourself. Best part is, since we told you about it now, you have a whole night to prepare your answers: What are you proud of? What are you afraid of? What gives you hope? Hope to see you there! Sincerely, The INY Team

  4. Meet Manuel

Over the next couple weeks we’ll be posting about the members of our team and the development process of a small company. Here’s Manuel who, with the help of his team at Zago, has designed the Interview New York site pro bono! Thanks Manuel, Interview New York appreciates your work. Here’s the progression of our design. From my scratches on graph paper and the bits of inspiration I brought to Manuel through his team’s many design incarnations! (click to enlarge)

Almost done! Zago’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, international non-profits, start-ups and global brands. The studio has received several prestigious awards, won international competitions and its work has been accepted into the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the Getty Museum. Manuel holds an MFA in photography and related media from the School of Visual Arts, where he also taught as a faculty member, and a BFA in Photography from Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C.
